This co-project with Kota Yamazaki, considers an abandoned, forgotten and invisible body, and its potentiality of opening up multi-layered and complex in-between spaces of life and death, light and darkness, physical and metaphysical, and the “this” and “that ” world, while ultimately blurring those boundaries. Through the project, Yamazaki with Nishimura deepen and push the particular physicality of a weather-like, inner energy-based movement practice, which corresponds to Japanese philosophy of the self as “no-self.”
