Hi, Merce! I Have a Question. is an intimate and personal dialogue with Merce, based on Nishimura’s 4-year experience as an international student at Merce Cunnigham Studio. Through this work, Nishimura self-investigates how Merce’s philosophies and practices meet with her own, and poses unquestioned questions.
